99 - Bitcoin Conference and the Presidential Race

As everyone knows the Bitcoin conference is this week in Nashville Tennessee. They will be having a wide range of speakers but the interesting part is that we have 2 presidential candidates speaking. RFK and Trump; we almost had Kamala but she decided not to go after being invited by Bitcoin Magazine. We also discuss how the market is doing and the ETH ETF selloff that Grayscale is having. Alex also mentions how Atari is getting into web3 gaming by onboarding a few of their games onto the blockchain. We will have more of that next week once William plays the game and checks everything out. It was definitely a jam packed episode.

Its been a wild week since we last discussed what's going on in crypto and the rest of the market. Well we obviously had to talk about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Which we can all say was a miracle. With that the bois are definitely seeing and feeling the crypto pump that came after assassination attempt on Trump. You can say it assured the market of a crypto friendly president. Alex came with the info on what's going on with Mount Gox and the distributions plus the eth ETF set to launch next week Tuesday so we had to cover that. The mass adoption of Bitcoin is happening slowly by big institutions. We discussed how the Wisconsin Pension Fund bought a total of 162 Million dollars to start their BTC position as a hedge against inflation. Alex also mentioned that the ETH ETF might not have the same demand as the Bitcoin ETF has generated. However, that being said the biggest bank in Singapore bought 625 million worth of actual ETH. No joke there may be more demand than what we think! And we still think it should be significant but we will have to wait and see. Of course, we had to talk about the celebrity meme coins. $Mother, Iggy Azalea's token did so well that she closed down her Onlyfans and moved all her followers to Telegram. $Mother has a 100M plus market cap. CRAZY! We tie that in with NOTCOIN the buzz from the gaming token that just dropped from Telegram. It is definitely a wild ride of an episode.

Well damn, what a turn of events happening in the market. The bois never lost conviction about the ETH ETF being approved. However the rest of the market definitely did. ETH had moved 20% on that note and that kind of inflow is no joke. ETH hasn't moved like that in ages making it reclaim a sizable chunk of bitcoins dominance. Our hypothesis : The SEC is being pushed by the government in charge especially after trump announced he will be accepting crypto for donation. Looks like the current administration realized they will need some crypto votes if they don't want to lose the next election. Will this be enough? We also discuss what can happen after the approval… Alt Season?
